# Release Notes Squirro provides two types of releases. Long-term support (LTS) releases are published roughly once per quarter, undergo extended testing, and are supported for two years. Biweekly releases are published every two weeks and are tested on a best-effort basis. Production Environments Squirro recommends the 3.16.6 LTS release, supported until August 24, 2028. The support window starts on the date of the first LTS release in that series. The following table lists every LTS series documented on this site. For example, the 3.14.x window runs from the release of 3.14.4, so the later 3.14.5 and 3.14.6 LTS patch releases end support on the same date as 3.14.4. Releases marked as end of life no longer receive security updates or bug fixes. To move to a supported release, see the [Upgrading Squirro](../install/upgrade.md#install-upgrade) page. Biweekly releases are not listed in the table. Each biweekly release is supported only until the next biweekly release, which is why Squirro recommends biweekly releases for development environments rather than for production. The release date of Squirro 3.4.7 LTS is not published.
