# Upgrading an Instance As _Server Admin_, you can configure upgrade settings for your Squirro self-service instance. To do so, follow the steps below: 1. Log in with your Squirro ID. If you do not have a Squirro ID, see the [How to Register for a Squirro ID](how-to/how-register-id.md#how-register-id) page. 2. Navigate to the Server space in the Squirro Spaces menu. 3. Click Upgrade Instance to configure upgrade settings.
