# Dashboard Types Three specialty dashboards are available in the Squirro UI. The first is [Layout Master Dashboard](master.md#dashboards-master), which is a templating dashboard used in the [Dashboard Editor](../dashboard-editor.md#dashboards-editor) to set universal section and theme styling for other dashboards that sync with it. [](https://s3.amazonaws.com/download.squirro.net/docs/technical/dashboards/dashboard-example-editor.png) The [Global Search Dashboard](global-search.md#dashboards-global), [Explore Dashboard](explore.md#dashboards-explore), and [Community 360 Dashboard](community-360.md#dashboards-community-360) are specialty dashboard designations that can be applied to dashboards to “promote” them within the UI. When a dashboard is promoted to _Global Search_, it serves as the dashboard that delivers search results from any user search in the Global Search bar. When a dashboard is promoted to _Community 360_, it becomes the template dashboard for different community types, meaning that when you click on any given community, you are taken to results about that community populated within the _Community 360_ dashboard template. > **Note** > > You cannot promote a dashboard to _Community 360_ without a _Global Search_ first existing. The _Community 360_ dashboard is dependent on the _Global Search_ dashboard.
