# Navigation Chips Widget The _Navigation Chips_ widget is conceptually similar to, and functions like, the _Tabs_ widget. It is also configured the same way. Instead of tabs, it offers toggleable chips to control the dashboard by query or dashboard store. The main difference between the two is that the _Tabs_ widget will always have `ALL` tab as the first tab whereas the _Navigation Chips_ widget will not have the `ALL` tab and no chip will be selected by default.
