Attention

Elasticsearch upgrade to version 9 - Manual updates and upgrades starting from Squirro 3.13.5 require careful management due to Elasticsearch infrastructure changes. Patch Notes#

Improvements

  • Adjusted the agent calling process to prevent the File Upload tool from being triggered when no attachment is linked to the prompt.

  • Server-restricted users can upload files directly with their prompts.

  • Project readers are able to save prompts for future use.

  • Navigation within a dashboard is now supported when embedded in an iframe.

  • Reference search, document search, and similar items queries now include dashboard-specific queries for improved relevance.

  • Updated code for custom widgets to utilize dashboardState for better integration and functionality.

  • Enhanced security controls to ensure safe and reliable rendering of email templates.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where the “Copy Link” feature in Document view failed to copy the link to the clipboard.

  • Fixed an issue where the item detail view would open unintentionally.

  • Improved the availability and accuracy of information in the item context.

  • Fixed an issue causing tools to appear duplicated in existing projects.

  • Ensure the active facet is properly selected in the Labels widget.

  • Fixed a bug preventing agent names from displaying in existing chat conversations.

  • Resolved an issue where applied context was not visible to users.

  • Adjusted the text highlighting mechanism for better performance and accuracy.

  • Opening item references in the chat incorrectly displays text highlights.

  • Multiple fixes for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures.

Known Issue

  • In specific scenarios, cross-lingual information retrieval for semantic search may deliver lower-than-expected quality (SQ-28171).

Breaking Change

  • Email templates that make external requests to populate the template using the h.requests_get utility are no longer supported.
